More hats and baby boots

Hello Blog land! It’s been awhile since I updated my blog or posts a blog entry. I have been busy with my college admission and it is done. I am starting next month for the spring semester. Wish me luck!
What happened last month? Uhmm to start, I crocheted hats and more booties for my new niece.  Of course the model in this pictures is not my niece lol!

first is the chili/elf shoes with hat.
2nd is Spock hat and boots for halloween.
3rd is the Thinkerbell shoes and hat.
4th is the pink mary jane slipper and head band
and the last one is the sweet butterfly and headband. Those names are from my previous post about the baby boots.( if you are wondering :P)

And then, my sister and her family came to visit for the thanksgiving. I prepared turkey and they said it was delicious.

Then, my husband and I went to see friends in Pensacola bay, FL. It was a long trip but worth it because we get to see our friends and the weather was so nice and sunny. It was my 2nd visit to that beach and each visit is amazing because Pensacola has nice sunset and sun rise, great surf fishing, white sand, it is winter but still warm, quiet, and there is a small Cajun restaurant that I really love. They have the best seafood ever. (My opinion of course :P)

Well this is the end of my story today. I am wishing everyone a MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! God bless us all!

crochet baby booties

Hello my lovely blogging friends!  I hope everyone is enjoying their day or night whichever part of the world you are right now.

On my last post, I mentioned that I made a promise to my sister that I will make 12 pairs of crochet baby shoes or booties for her baby girl. Also, I posted the 3 pairs that I have completed.

Today, I completed 4 more. So without further ADO! Here is my TADA!

I have decided to name them... Uhmmm I tried!!

First, The sweet butterfly because of the shape of the buttons and my favorite colors that's what makes it sweet :-)!

Then,The Tomato or can be Strawberry shoes! What do you think?
I added picot stitch in between five DC of crocodile stitch to have the leafy kinda thing add to the design.

And  one of my favorite, I named it The Tinkerbell booties because of the color. It has earthy slash fairy colors of brown, green and white. It was made of few layers of crocodile stitch using different colors and it turn out good. On the list is a baby hat to match this.
Lastly, my version of christmas booties. The Elf shoes! It also look like chili peppers with leaves!
I think this is so cute that I have decided to write down the pattern when I was crocheting this.
My sister is planning to have her baby girl to be photograph by a professional photographer monthly after the child is born which is due next month. That is why I decided to crochet 12 pairs!

Ladies, I am working on the pattern for the elf/chili peppers shoes. Hopefully, my next post will be the pattern. If interested watch out for the next post. I will try my very best to be very clear on the pattern.

Once again, Thank You very much for the comments on my last post.Comments are very much appreciated God bless you all and have a great day!

Bikini cover ups

Hi Blog friends! I hope everyone had a good weekend. As I mentioned on my last post I crocheted two bikini cover ups last month and I will share the photo. So, the TADA! Two bikini cover ups for summer.

I was so inspired by my first summer here in the US and our new home sweet home that I spent most of last month doing these dresses.

Anyways, I think hummingbirds are so pretty amazing and beautiful that I need to share the photos that I captured while they are enjoying the feeder that I made yesterday afternoon, made of sugar and water. They love it and kept coming back for more. There are two of them one is red and the other is green. They're so cute!

Have a great week everyone! THANK YOU SO MUCH for all the wonderful comments love all of them. crocheters rocks!

the blue dress from crochet today

Hi blog friends!
We finally made it to Fayetteville, North Carolina.  It was so stressful; moving can be so crazy and will drive you insane! LOL!

We are still looking for a house to buy. Found one house that is really amazing and I fell in love with it, but it is a little expensive. I am hoping that the owner will agree to our price. Cross fingers! Good luck for us!

Anyways, I asked my friend to take picture of the dress and her daughter wearing it. Her daughter was a little grumpy but she made managed to snap a photo for me.

The pattern was from the baby issue of crochet today! It was the blue dress I forgot the page number. I only have red soft yarn so, my version was red color.

So, here’s my model she is a sweetheart.
The pattern of the dress was for summer for toddlers but it was shell stitches so, I asked my aunt to sew a lining for it.

HAVE A GREAT WEEK EVERYONE!

Busy busy!

Hi blog friends! It’s been awhile since I posted entry in this blog and commented on other blogs but I have been reading the blogs I am following.
Anyways, last month I went home (to the Philippines) to see my mother and the rest of my family, it was nice to see them again after a year. Although, I was sick when I was there it was okay, because I get to eat my favorite food and fruits, I spent a lot of time with the kids and my mother and chit chat with them all day long!
But before all the adventures and chit chatting with family back home, I did finish all the crochet angry birds and pigs that I was working on couple of months ago. I tried to complete them all but I do not have yarns and I can’t order online too because we are moving to another country….
Speaking of moving! It was exhausting and crazy moving all of our stuff to the states. Well, I did not do all the packing but cleaning, sorting stuff before the movers came, clearing the fridge, gathering all the documents we need, etc. it was not fun at all. I still need to clean this apartment before the end of the month and then move to a hotel and then travel again! Whew! What a month for me.
Okay, enough with story here are some photos I took before I went home.

Oh my family and I wearing the hats i made! it was fun!

Have a bless day everyone!

Granny Squares napkin box cover

Hi all! It’s been weeks since I last posted. As you noticed I have change my header and I love it! I have been crocheting a lot but too lazy to take photo or post in here. Anyways, I am so excited because I am going to visit my family in the Philippines this month! It’ll be fun seeing them again :-)

I crocheted this granny square Kleenix box cover last month.  It was made of 8 blocks of granny squares and few rounds of double crochet. I just got the idea when I bought a box of Kleenix. I did not want just a brown box in my table .So, I came up with the idea of crocheting granny squares.I will try to make a tutorial of this cute napkin box cover soon. Now here is may tada!

HAVE A GREAT DAY!
