Hello summer!

Hello blogland! Wow I can’t believe that it took me ages before I can share something in here. Anyways, my first semester was over, it ended couple of weeks ago. I got A’s for all of my classes, so my husband took me to the beach for job well done :-) plus a celebration for our wedding anniversary. We planned to stay for couple of nights and fish but it was too windy, waves were crazy and it was a little bit cold for me. So, we decided to just go home and spent the rest of the week cleaning our yard.

Even though, I didn’t write anything I kept reading all the blogs I have been following and still crocheted some summer tops.

And some something for babies :-)

I know it is a little late for this picture but I just want to share because I’ve enjoyed the snow last winter :-)

That’s it for today! Have a great day!

More hats and baby boots

Hello Blog land! It’s been awhile since I updated my blog or posts a blog entry. I have been busy with my college admission and it is done. I am starting next month for the spring semester. Wish me luck!
What happened last month? Uhmm to start, I crocheted hats and more booties for my new niece.  Of course the model in this pictures is not my niece lol!

first is the chili/elf shoes with hat.
2nd is Spock hat and boots for halloween.
3rd is the Thinkerbell shoes and hat.
4th is the pink mary jane slipper and head band
and the last one is the sweet butterfly and headband. Those names are from my previous post about the baby boots.( if you are wondering :P)

And then, my sister and her family came to visit for the thanksgiving. I prepared turkey and they said it was delicious.

Then, my husband and I went to see friends in Pensacola bay, FL. It was a long trip but worth it because we get to see our friends and the weather was so nice and sunny. It was my 2nd visit to that beach and each visit is amazing because Pensacola has nice sunset and sun rise, great surf fishing, white sand, it is winter but still warm, quiet, and there is a small Cajun restaurant that I really love. They have the best seafood ever. (My opinion of course :P)

Well this is the end of my story today. I am wishing everyone a MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! God bless us all!

My first Halloween in the states

Hello everyone! How’s your Halloween? Mine was okay. Last year, the Germans surprised me. I thought they don’t have trick or treats because I know it is American tradition. I wasn’t expecting any trick or treat because we live outside the American base but luckily I bought few bags of chocolates and candies, after couple of hours I’m out of candies! I had to turn the lights off. So, when we moved here I thought this is America, trick or treating will be crazier than Germany. I bought 6 big bags if mix candies and chocolates. Called the clubhouse about the time the trick or treat begins in the community. She said 6-8pm, I lit my carved pumpkins and turn the outside lights on to indicate that I have candies to give away but after 9pm is still have 5 and half bags of candies and I don’t have any idea what to do with them! Okay enough with my candies and Halloween story. I know what to do next Halloween LOL!
My October started with buying and carving pumpkins. I carved few pumpkins last month. My husband and I saw this farmhouse on the side of the road that has a lot of good-looking pumpkins and bought 3 then came back again 2 more times because their pumpkins are not just good but also cheap.

 Oh me so happy!

I didn’t have any costume but I realize I have angry bird hat. So, I decided to wear it and be the angry birdJ it was fun!

It was fun and lots of work LOL!
Here are photos.

This one is dedicated to my sister and her baby girl.

Received a lot of compliments for this Star Wars theme this year.

Next year will be Star Trek theme :) have a great day everyone and have a bless weekend. TGIF to all!
